A warm rugby welcome to the Colts section at North Petherton Rugby Club.

NPRFC runs a friendly and hard working Colts section. Led by experienced coaches and helpers. Players will be challenged to achieve their best and all will be given the opportunity to achieve their potential on the field of play. The Colts have a varied fixture schedule which allows the wider squad to play against different standards of opposition.

Coaching sessions: Our Colts have their exclusive training on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings at NPRFC grounds and the opportunity of training alongside clubs’s senior players on these evenings to enable you to learn as the senior section does and get familiar with our players to aid the transition and pathway into adult rugby. This coaching process reinforces the importance of Colts rugby at North Petherton RFC having the Colts working within the Senior Rugby umbrella reinforces the coaching structure and encourages the pathway towards senior rugby.

Training commences at 19:00 prompt with players expected to be at the club and ready-to-go by 18:50.

Formal Matches: Games are scheduled for Sundays on the fixtures but can be mutually arranged for the weekend to suit team’s availability. On game days, it is expected that players wear the club T-shirt and warm up top when arriving at the ground and to wear club tie and shirt once the game has finished.
